Iliana Griva

Iliana Griva is an Associate on Energize's Ventures investment team, where she supports all steps of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, and thesis development across energy and industry.

Before joining Energize, Iliana earned her MBA at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where she focused on the intersection of energy and finance, serving as VP of the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative and a Venture Fellow with the Skydeck accelerator program. During this time, she also joined Generation Investment Management as a Summer Associate on the Growth Equity team, supporting diligence and investment research across energy, industrials, and healthcare. She previously worked at Systemiq in London, advising institutional investors on energy transition strategies.

Iliana holds an LLB from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she graduated valedictorian, and an MSc in Law & Finance from the University of Oxford. She began her career as a lawyer in Athens, working on renewable energy transactions and environmental standards litigation.
