Agustina Soriano Sergi (Agus) is an Associate on Energize’s venture investment team, where she supports deal flow by sourcing, evaluating investment opportunities, and conducting due diligence through market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling. She also contributes to investment thesis development across different verticals of the industry.
Before joining Energize, Agus earned her MBA with a Sustainability Certificate from MIT Sloan, where she focused on the intersection of climate and entrepreneurship, working with founders in areas such as critical mineral supply chains and hydrogen transportation. During this time, she also joined venture capital firm Fifth Wall as an MBA Associate on the climate-tech team, where she worked on sourcing, due diligence, and thesis development in sectors like circularity and building/energy management systems.
Agus holds an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA). She began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, helping companies with digital transformations. Later, she joined an early-stage fintech startup as Product Owner and became Chief of Staff to the CEO, aiding with the startup's strategy, regional expansion, and fundraising strategy.
